The Victoria's Secret's angels descended upon Miami Beach for a major fashion show
Arriving by yacht, the models waved and blew kisses to the assembled crowds of fans
Heidi Klum prepared to strut down the runway...

Singer Usher kicked off the show with a rousing performance
before 35 supermodels paraded the latest collection from the lingerie giant
The show took place in the newly renovated Fontainebleau Hotel; which in the past was a favoured spot of the Rat Pack
Models showed 68 outfits
with styles influenced by mythical goddesses
and Roman chic
There were designs for winter

Wing designer Martin Izquierdo made seven pairs of wings for the show for which he turned to Greek mythology and butterflies as inspiration
The models had to tread carefully as the runway was covered with broken glass. Fortunately, nobody was harmed
Professional dancers wore one-piece bathing suit
and many designs featured bold colors with geometric patterns
'The theme of the show is a return to glamour,' said company CEO Sharen Turney. 'Victoria's Secret is about sexy, and the new sexy is glamorous for this season.'
It's 'a celebration of sophistication and elegance...our way to do a new take on holiday celebrations,' said Todd Thomas, the costume designer
Celebrities on the front row included Paris Hilton
Martha Stewart and Heidi Klum's husband, singer, Seal
legendary musicians Lenny Kravitz and Deborah Harry
At the end of the extravaganza, all the models appeared on-stage together for the finale. The show will be broadcast on American station CBS on December 3
